I met some PBT employees today at the Troy, Missouri Imo's Pizza restaurant. They were all in uniform. I was there a little bit after 11 a.m. on Monday September 25th, 2017., having lunch with my four-year-old daughter. One of the PBT employees that was eating with the other PBT employees started talking very loud in the restaurant complaining about the man that took up two parking spots. She referred this man as an ass hole. She said that statement and that bad word several times to every PBT employee that was eating at her table. I have no idea how she thought that it was a man knowingly that there's nothing manly about the vehicle. I got up and I said I can't believe someone would park like that, looking at the PBT employee that is stating the bad word. And, she agreed with me and added the word ass hole again. She was very expressive and using that word. And then I asked her if she is talking about that Buick out there. She said yep, and then I confessed with a big smile that I am the ass hole using that same bad word. Her face turn red and she couldn't say anything. With a huge smile and positive attitude, I explained to her whole group of PBT employees at that table that I removed my daughter from the car and it was a difficult time getting her out, and I didn't want to have to put my daughter back in the Buick after I figured out that I parked wrong. I explained that it would be a difficult task to put my daughter back in the vehicle to correct my parking and that I did not think that anyone would be upset and knowingly that there is a tremendous amount of parking. I explained that I must be an ass hole even though I had good intentions of not correcting my parking. I I thought felt that was fun putting myself in that argument. I have a bachelor's degree and a two-year certification in advertising. I run into a lot of unprofessionalism all the time. I manage special events for many different companies. This was an example of unprofessionalism and bad hospitality. If PBT employees cannot keep their act together in a public restaurant, then they shouldn't have worn their uniform while they're at a restaurant. Every statement that they make, is the same thing as PBT making that statement, when they have their uniform on.

I walked out of People’s Bank and went directly to United Credit Union and they were willing to give my friend her money from her debit card with no signature. I also opened a FREE checking account with NO fees.

I have signed the back of a few of them “CID”. I have been banking at Peoples Bank and Trust for a little over 4 years now and yesterday when I closed my account I got a cash withdraw from my credit card and the card is NOT signed and I was NOT asked for my ID.

I went to approached one of the customer service women that opens accounts and asked her about this situation and she told me “Whatever the tellers say goes”. WHAT? You just decided to change your rules today for some reason? So I stated to her that “If my friend is not able to access her money I will not open my checking account here. The customer service woman repeated herself and stated that was the rules at the bank. Sadly to say, I ended up NOT opening my checking account there.

I've been banking here since I was 8 years old. The workers are always friendly and make my banking experience great every time!

What really disturbs me is how my loyalty with Peoples Bank has always been 100 % with this bank these last 4 years I have banked at Peoples Bank and Trust and in just 30 seconds they were willing to throw my loyalty, my business, and my piece of mind right out the window just because they decided to change their rules.

I’m really disappointed in Peoples Bank and Trust and truly got to see how far they will go to be right rather than to follow through as they ALWAYS have with the same procedures they have had in place since I have been banking there. I’m happy I got to see this side of the people that work at Peoples Bank and Trust. They decided to choose being right over trying to resolve a simple problem. Being right was more important than them following through as they always have and all of this over a signature on the back of a debit card for security purposes??? Really??? It is more important for them to lose a loyal customer then to take care of their customers and treat them with respect.

Friendly service but the service is kind of slow though.

I went to Peoples Bank and 430 East Wood St. Troy, MO 63379 this afternoon to re-open my checking account after having to close it yesterday because my account was compromised. My friend came in with me to get money off of her debit card that she has done several times before at the same location with the same people. She approached the teller to request her cash advance like she has done several times before at the same bank and for some reason today the teller decided to tell her that she WOULD NOT allow her to access her money on her debit card unless she signed her name he back of her card, needless to say my friend DID NOT want to put her signature on the back of her debit card for SECURITY PURPOSES but she had already handed her driver’s license over with the debit card and the teller told her that she would NOT help her.

I have referred many friends and family members to Peoples Bank and Trust but now I will no longer suggest anyone bank there. I seen a whole different side of the people that work there today and just like children behaving badly, it was more important for the bank to be right and loose a loyal customer than it was to try and resolve this small, and simple problem.

I don’t have my signatures on all of my debit and credit cards for the same reason, security purposes.
