I purchased a newer (2014) used vehicle here four months ago. CAUTION: Read every line of the purchase contract before you sign anything! These guys will slip in numbers at your expensive if you do not pay close attention. They claim to do all these services before they sell any vehicle, but don't be fooled. The alignment was way off, oil was old and levels were low. Tires were WAY overinflated and bulging. Most of the fluids were low or completely out. If you do purchase a vehicle here (which I HIGHLY do not recommend), be sure to have a car savvy person with you at all times to call the sales associates out on their BS.
A part of the purchase included a fairly pricey piece of plastic that was missing from the back side which protected the trailer hitch. I had to call bi-weekly for them to even make a move on getting this part to me, each time they gave me the runaround of excuses probably hoping that I would eventually give up. I had to deal with multiple managers to finally get a part sent out. I received the part after 3 months of constant calling and it was the completely wrong part. Keep in mind, I called one dealership and they tracked own this part in a few minutes. I talked to another manager at Jim Trenary and told them easy this part is to get. They stated that they would track down the correct part. I CLEARLY stated that the part would need to be painted and I wanted to make sure they knew what color to have it painted. They stated they did. 4 months after my purchase, I finally received the correct part. Wrong color. An expensive chrome piece on the part was also missing.
The Finance department was great to work with, and made the process efficient and easy. He also explained the paperwork and answered all our questions.
Can you give ZERO STARS? Jim Trenary should be in jail. If you do business with this man....you will be So Sorry. His goal is to steal every $ from you he possibly can. I've stood face to face with this slimey piece of flesh & had him lie right to my face. He's a thief and a liar. I haven't been to this location, but please read my detailed reviews for the Ofallon & Union Mo location's. I've never given a negative review to Any business except this one. Please, whatever you do, at least research the reviews on this Creep. My elderly mother-in-law traded her "lightly" used Cadillac to this location. She went by herself & didn't let us know she was going. She paid cash for her new car & they stole her trade in. It blue-booked for $21k ( trade-in value) & they gave her $7000 for it. They made a deal with her and then ended up calling her back & said since she hadn't kept up with their scheduled maintenance, they lowered her trade value. THIS GUY IS SUCH A SLIMEY THIEF ! Don't believe the bogus "Good reviews" you see on his business. He has employees & friends write FAKE REVIEWS.
I dont believe they performed the tire rotation that was requested and even if they did they decided to lower my tire pressure to 55 psi on all 4 tires causing my tpms light to come on later that day driving. My truck is a 2500 hd duramax that should have been set at 60 psi on the front and 80 psi in the rear
We continue to take our Terrain to Jim Trenary Troy for any needed services, and they do not disappoint. The service staff is friendly, thorough and prompt. They always go above and beyond to ensure we are satisfied.
They are always extremely nice. I bought my first new car here, and I would highly recommend!

We purchased a Certified Used GMC Terrain from Jim Trenary Troy last year. The search for, and purchase of our ideal vehicle was a pleasant and smooth experience thanks to Chris Manion, the Used Sales Manager at the time (current GM) and the rest of the staff there.
If you decide to ignore this review & do business with him, you'll be very, very sorry. Please, buy you vehicle somewhere else, and for God's sake, don't let their service department steal your hard earned money. He'll steal the last time you have & then sit back on the beach somewhere living the life of a king while you're struggling to survive.
The sales staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and not at all pushy. I had a list of *needs* and *wants* for my vehicle, and Chris helped us find what we were looking for, without any hassle.
