Kind of slow service. Very nice wait staff. Food is decent for diner food.
This place is in dire need of new management. It took longer than necessary to be seated considering the restaurant was empty on one side and only a few tables occupied on the other. This was the week of October 31, 2017.My father ordered a steak medium well, it came out medium rare and had to be sent back. I ordered an avocado burger and the bun was so dry it fell apart as I tried to eat it. I normally send things back or comment on it but I have had negative experiences on every visit to this Denny's and have just decided not to go back. My father went to Denny's to take advantage of the Veterran's breakfast for Veteran's Day 11/11/17. He was told by the server thatDenny's had their breakfast on 11/10/17. The restaurant was full of men wearing hats and shirts that represent themselves as veterans, so I guess they missed out as well. Hello Denny's....Veteran's day is on 11/11 every year.... My father decided to get breakfast anyway. He is not one to complain but said his coffee was so bitter as if it was left over from the day before. He ordered scrambled eggs and said he only received about a spoonful. He has also decided to quit eating at Denny's.
Ordered To-Go twice. 1st time, no utensils or napkins. The California Club looked nothing like the picture, was not cut properly, and was missing the sauce I requested. 2nd time, no spoons for the soup and the supposed Super Bird I ordered was not even close to being super. The most sad sandwich I have ever eaten/payed for. I do not recommend
Terrible service. Our waitress was switched multiple times. We were only checked on about twice. Ordered two burgers and a side salad. After 40 minutes had to ask for my side salad only to find HAIR in my food. Waved down a waitress b/c no one was regularly helping us. Told her about the hair and received a blank stare. Told her I did not want another one but just wanted the item removed from my bill since I had only eaten about 1/3 before finding the hair. After waiting for 1.5 hours we still did not receive our food. Waved down a different waitress and asked if we could cancel our order and leave do to the outrageous wait. She responded "well everyone's food is taking forever." I then asked again to cancel my order and we left. This was the Troy, MO location and I will NEVER go back to another Dennys due to this terrible service and disgusting food. The table in front of us complained to their waitress about the terrible quality. The table next to us complained to their waitress about their wait and their order being incorrect. The table behind complained to their waitress about the wait. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to and will never return.
Always great place to have breakfast ANY time of day. Extremely friendly hostesses and waitresses. Especially when I bring in my toddler!
