The Troy Stefanina's is a gem of a place. Originally an old Catholic Church, it has been converted into a quaint restaurant complete with a newly expanded outside dining patio. The service was prompt, courteous and we'll timed.
Good food for sure and awesome service! Very accommodating to large groups
So I'm new to the area and figured I would take my family out to eat and we will not be returning. One of the worst experiences I have ever had dining out. We ordered 2 garlic cheese bread to start out with never received them. We figured they would be coming out with the food. When our food arrived with no garlic bread we asked about them and her response was " I saw them go in the oven but I don't know what happened to them". I ordered the chicken Marsala and every time I have ordered a chicken Marsala from any Italian place it has been a brown sauce. My dish came out and look like someone just threw up on top of a piece of chicken. It was way to salty and tasted horrible. I'm usually not one to complain but this was bad. I usually not one to complain because I used to be a server for 6 years but this was bad.
This is the best Italian food in Lincoln County. The service is always very good and can handle large groups flawlessly. The menu is outstanding. I especially like the house salad. The pizza is also the best around.
For appetizers I had a salad with the creamy Italian, fresh and crisp and the dressing is homemade. The baked cheese bread and the toasted ravioli were also terrific. The champ of the appetizer round though was the plate of spicy mustard wings. The sauce is light on the mustard, light on the heat and creamy with a hint of sweetness. It's a perfect combination that will please almost everyone!
We have eaten here several times and loved it. This trip was midweek and there was only one large table full that was eating when we arrived, and two other tables full. We were seated promptly. No one came to our table to get our drink order it even say they would be back. A waitress checked in the people at the next table, but did not even look at us. After 20 minutes of being ignored, we got up and left. No one said a word as we left. Very disappointed!
The food? Absolutely delicious! I had the baked lasagna with a white Cavatelli sauce added to it and I will say it is the best lasagna I've had. Multiple layers of noodles, sauces and cheese baked piping hot with a delectable crust of bubbly toasted cheese made my stomach growl in anticipation.
This is the first time I've eaten here, I look forward to returning with my family again in the near future. Everybody came home talking about how good it was!
